         The Dove And The Ant

Once an ant became very thirsty and he was searching for some water.After a while,the ant came near a river/stream.He climed up on a rock to drink water.While drinking water,he slipped and fell into the water.The ant was trying to save himself but he couldn't.He was about to drown.

A dove was seeing everything sitting on the branch of a tree.The dove took pity on the ant.Then the dove plucked a leaf and threw/dropped it into the water near the ant.The ant moved/went towards the leaf and climbed up onto the leaf.Then the ant reached on the bank of the river/stream with the help of the leaf.

He thanked the dove for saving his life and they became friends.A few days later,the dove was taking rest on a tree.A hunter came to the jungle to hunt dove.Suddenly the hunter saw the dove and aimed his gun at the dove.At that time,the ant was also passing by the place.He saw the hunter aiming his gun at the dove.

The ant quickly went to the hunter.When the hunter was about to shoot the dove,the ant bit him on his foot.At this the hunter felt pain and made a sound.Hearing the sound,the dove saw the hunter and flew away from the place.After a few days,both the ant and the  dove met each other.The dove expressed his gratitude to the ant for his help.

Moral:Do to others as you expect to do to you.

Story:King Lear And His Three Daughters

Once there was a king named Lear.He had three doughters and he loved them very much.He was tired and feeble/weak by ruling his kingdom.So he wanted to divide the kingdom among the three daughters.But before dividing the kingdom,he wanted to see how much his daughters loved him.

So one day he called them to him.He asked one after another how much love they had for him.At first he asked his eldest daughter Goneril and she said,"Sir,I love you more than my life."The king was satisfied with her answer.Then he went to his second daughter  Rigan and asked her to show her love."I love you more than my sister,Goneril.In fact my love for you will never change."she professed/said.

The king was more satisfied than before after hearing it.Then he asked his youngest doughter,Cordelia whom he loved most.He was expecting to hear something more interesting from her."Nothing, my father." answered Cordelia.
"Nothing can come of nothing. Speak again," said the King.
And Cordelia answered, "I can't have my heart in my mouth.I love your Majesty according to my duty--no more, no less."

The king was disappointed after hearing such kind of answer from her.He didn't give the share of his kingdom and told him to go away from his kingdom.Cordella went away from kingdom.The king divided the kingdom among his two daughters and said that he would live with them by turns.Actually Goneril and Regan didn't love the king.They just expressed/showed fake love for their father.

After diving the kingdom,their behaviour was changed.They didn't show respect to their father as before.They became harsh and undutiful to him.Even they compelled him to go away from the kingdom.Then the king went away from the kingdom.One day while walking by a road,he saw Cordella.He told Cordella everything happened with him.He then realized how much Cordella loved him.He also realized that true love can't be expressed in mouth but in deeds/works.

We,the inhabitants of Pirojpur district,have the honour to state that a recent flood has brought about a great suffering  to our locality.Many people have become homeless and shelterless.They are leading dogs life.Many of them have taken shelter on rooftops,boats and embankments.They have been affected by water born diseases like cholera,dysentery,typhoid,diarrhoea etc.These diseases have broken out in an epidemic form.The flood has taken away some valuable lives.The damage of the crops is huge.So,more relief goods are urgently/badly needed for them.

We,therefore,pray and hope that you would be kind enough to arrage sufficient relief goods for the affected people to lessen/remove their sufferings and oblige thereby.
