Story:Who is to bell the cat?
Once upon a time there lived a number of mice in a house/a grocery shop.They were doing a great mischief there.They dug wholes,ate foods and cut blanket.The master of the house was very annoyed at the mice.
He wanted to get rid of the mice.He made a plan to kill the cat.He bought a cat from the market to kill the mice.As a result the mice were in great trouble.They couldn't move freely as before.Some of them were killed by the cat.They wanted to get rid of the cat.
So they made a plan.They called a meeting.All the mice attended the meeting.The leader of the mice asked for proposals about how to kill the cat.Many proposals were given but none of them was acceptable.One said,"We can use poison to kill the cat."But the poison wasn't available there.Another said,"We can use trap to kill him."But it was impossible because they didn't know how to make and use a trap.
At last an young mouse stood and said,"We can use a bell to kill him.We'll set the bell on the cat's neck.Whenever he will move,we can hide ourselves by hearing the sound of the bell."Everyone became happy after hearing his proposal.
But suddenly a wise mouse raised his voice and said,"Dear brother,no doubt the plan is very nice.But the problem is that who is going to bell the cat?"After hearing this,there was a pin drop silence among the mice.At last no proposal was found to kill the cat.So the mice left the meeting in a gloomy/sad mind.
